Additional education
Additional education is approved in the Law "On Education" of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Article 37. Additional education:
1. Additional education of children is carried out in educational organizations and out-of-school organizations, the types of which are determined by the authorized body in the field of education.
2. Education of adults (persons who have reached the age of eighteen) is aimed at meeting their educational needs throughout their lives in order to obtain an additional amount of knowledge and skills in accordance with the ongoing socio-economic changes in society.
3. Obtaining additional knowledge and skills by adults is carried out through additional and non-formal education.
Additional adult education is carried out by educational organizations, as well as legal entities that have structural units that implement additional educational programs.
Non-formal adult education is carried out by organizations that provide educational services provided without taking into account the place, timing and form of education, and is accompanied by the issuance of a document confirming the learning outcomes.
Learning outcomes obtained by adults throughout their lives through non-formal education are recognized in accordance with the procedure provided for by this Law and contribute to further employment.

Preschool education of children before admission to the 1st grade is carried out in the family or from one year before admission to the 1st grade in preschool organizations.
Preschool education is carried out from the age of five in the form of pre-school preparation of children for school.
Pre-school training is mandatory and is carried out in the family, preschool organizations, pre-school classes of secondary schools, lyceums and gymnasiums.
Pre-school training in state educational institutions is free of charge.

Secondary education is the education guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, received by citizens as a result of mastering the general educational programs of primary, basic secondary and general secondary education in accordance with the state mandatory standards of education.
