Participation of students in accreditation processes

The independent Kazakhstan Center of Accreditation involves students of universities and colleges in active participation in the processes of external evaluation of educational organizations and their educational programs.

In accordance with the Guidelines for the organization and conduct of external evaluation (audit) within the framework of accreditation of educational organizations of the IKCA, student experts are required to participate in the procedures of institutional and specialized accreditation of the Center as part of the Accreditation Council, which makes the final decision on accreditation, expert groups on external audit.

An expert student, a member of the external audit group during accreditation performs an audit, giving an assessment from his point of view. To do this, the student, before participating in the expert group, must have a similar experience in public work at the university level, and preferably at the national level: in the work of student activists, in the Association of Students, etc.
