29 January 2024 representatives of NU "Independent Kazakhstan Accreditation Centre" took part in the Forum "Quality Assurance of Higher Education: State and Prospects of Development", organised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee for Quality Assurance of Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Forum was held on the basis of the Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumelov. The Forum was attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the RK, rectors, vice-rectors of higher and postgraduate education organisations, representatives of Atameken and the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR), representatives of accreditation agencies, chairpersons of dissertation councils, editors-in-chief of scientific journals Within the framework of the event 3 thematic sessions were held: "Tuning the internal system of quality assurance of higher education", "Improving the training of scientific personnel", "Improving the system of state regulation of higher and postgraduate education". In the course of the sessions the issues of quality assurance of higher education were discussed.
