Seminar on the topic: “Accreditation of TVET organizations”

On February 1, 2024 NU "Independent Kazakhstan Centre for Accreditation" (IKCA) held a training seminar for external experts on institutional and specialized (programme) accreditation of technical and vocational, post-secondary education (TVET) on the topic: "Accreditation of TVET institutions". Seminar participants: experts on conducting institutional and specialised (programme) accreditation of TVET institutions, representatives of NU "Independent Kazakhstan Accreditation Centre", branches. The aim of the seminar is to train external experts to conduct institutional and specialised (programme) accreditation of TVET institutions in accordance with the NCAC Standards, consideration of normative legal acts in the field of TVET.
The moderator of the seminar was B.O. Khalmuratov, Director of NCCA. Speakers were: Director of the Department of methodology, monitoring and quality assurance - Syzdykov E.K., chief expert of the Department of methodology, monitoring and quality assurance - Dauletkhanova J.D.. Sessions of the seminar were held in an interactive form on the following topics:

1. Organisation of institutional and specialised (programme) accreditation of TVET institutions.
2. External audit, its principles.
3. responsibilities of the head of the external expert group, members of the external expert group. 4.
4. Main normative legal acts, on the basis of which conformity to standards and their criteria is assessed. 5.
5. Structure and content of the report on external assessment of the organisation
6. Compliance with accreditation standards. During the seminar there was a meaningful, active exchange of opinions, discussion of existing problematic issues, as well as possible ways to solve them. Certificates will be issued to the participants of the seminar.
